Who is behind NoracTime?
My name is Pierre, I'm 32 years old, and ever since I was little, I've always been passionate about drawing. As a child, I took classes, but painting fruit around a salad bowl didn't really appeal to me. My training consisted of filling all my school notebooks with miniature works of art, some more meaningful than others.
Then, later on, the watches arrived. Norac (my last name spelled backwards, quite simply) thought: Why not combine these two passions and draw ON watches? NoracTime was born!
An example of a doodling-based hobby. @Norac
Watch faces as a backdrop
The world of watchmaking has long been too serious. Whimsy is slowly starting to take hold, but it remains almost taboo. For me, a collection should have a bit of fun.
With a hand-painted watch, you get that touch of fun, color and above all originality in the middle of your more classic watches.
For me, the challenge is to offer something new and to meet an expectation: to create a watch that reflects your personality. All without pretension, but with precision and passion.
