Painting of famous watches by NoracTime: RM 27-02 and Rolex Wimbledon

This painting depicts two iconic watches worn by two of the greatest tennis players—Nadal and Federer—reimagining two of the most famous timepieces in history. Entirely hand-painted, this small canvas is designed for watch enthusiasts, art lovers, and anyone seeking unique décor inspired by the world of horology.

Why did I choose these watches?

Nadal’s Richard Mille RM 27-02 Tourbillon versus Federer’s Rolex DateJust Rolesor with the Wimbledon dial. This is the matchup I envisioned for this painting: recreating—through their signature watches—the rivalry that played out on courts across the globe.

On one side, we have clay—Rafael Nadal’s favorite surface. Against this orange backdrop, what better model than the RM 27-02 Tourbillon, a limited edition of just 50 pieces? Naturally, this is the very watch the Majorcan wore during official matches.

Opposite that, I had to choose from the many Rolex gems Federer has worn. The green, of course, evokes the Swiss player’s preferred surface—grass, and specifically Wimbledon. He wore this Rolex DateJust—featuring a smooth bezel and a two-tone steel-and-gold finish—during Wimbledon 2024. Even on the sidelines, Roger remains the epitome of class.

As if the two watches weren't enough, I incorporated their iconic logos (all rights reserved) into the painting, placing each one on its respective surface.

This original creation draws inspiration from the rivalry between two of the greatest players in history. The compact 10x10 cm canvas is perfect for adorning a desk, a small side table, a bookshelf, or an enthusiast's workshop! It can also be hung on the wall alongside other artworks.
